Hezbollah’s Image Campaign: Theme Parks, Anyone?

In Doha 12, Hezbollah launches its effort to eliminate the Doha 12 (including Our Heroes) as part of their worldwide publicity/propaganda campaign. Hezbollah is one of the most sophisticated users of media, image and messaging in the terrorist world, with their own newspapers and satellite TV channel.

But a theme park?

VICE (an online news/documentary producer) recently explored Hezbollah’s museum/theme park/propaganda center of Mleeta. There’s also a Part 2 (not as well-done) that looks at how Hezbollah fits in the greater Lebanese political scene and how the Lebanese public views them. Interesting viewing, and Part 2 partly explains why the on-camera host doesn’t challenge his interviewees more.
