It was time to dig for some more room here at the Burrow, so I’ve made perhaps the most changes at one time since I built the place.
- The Collection is the start of a series. The DeWitt Agency Files has an overview of the series and will be the roof under which each of the books lives. It may eventually expand into bios of the main characters, blog posts about art-related crime not tied to particular books, and whatever else I can think of.
- Stealing Ghosts, the second book in the series, now has its own page. From there, you can download the first four draft chapters to see what trouble Matt and Carson are getting into now.
- Readers have mentioned that they’d like to see some of the art that Matt describes in The Collection. That book’s bonus page now has a list of the artworks that appear in the story, plus links to artist bios and images that show either the actual painting (if it’s real) or something like it (if it’s not). You can even tell which ones are stolen in the real world.
- You’ll also find the Art Crime Bookshelf under the DeWitt Agency Files menu. There are getting to be a lot of books out there about art-related crime; these are the ones I’ve read and reviewed recently. You can click on the titles to see my reviews on Goodreads or Criminal Element. I’ve also included some true-crime and art-market-related books that I’ve found helpful.
I hope you enjoy these new features. Let me know what you think, and if you have any suggestions.
